Boys Swimmers Start Season with Convincing Win

Dec 1, 2015   The Boys Aquanauts traveled to STAC rival, Maine-Endwell on Tuesday.  While being out numbered 2 to 1 the Little Red crushed the Spartans 113-72.

Andrew Mikhailichenko, Jamie Lovette and Francis Schickel led the team with Two individual wins each and helped the Little Red Sweep all three relays.

Mikhailichenko broke the 200 IM pool record set in 2013 by former teammate and broke his own pool record in the 100 Breast by over 2 seconds.

Lovette paced the distance corps by leading a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 free and beat all competitors by 20 seconds in the 500 Free.

Shickel continued his 50 dominance in the STAC by winning the event by .50 seconds over teammate Robert Mangan (who also recorded a win in the 100 Free and helped win the Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay).  Schickel had a great early season swim in the 100 fly and will be one of the favorites for the Section IV title.
