Ithaca sets 5 pool records in Win at Union-Endicott

En route to the their 74-28 win over the Union-Endicott Tigers, the Little Red set five pool records.  Francis Schickel set the new marks in the 50 free, 22.48, and the 100 free, 48.81.  Kevin Miller took the record in the 100 Fly, 56.55.  Jamie “Butters” Lovette’s 4:53.73 dropped the time by nearly 18 seconds.  The 200 Free Relay team of Robert Mangan, Andrew Mikhailichenko, Kevin Miller and Francis Schickel set the new standard at 1:30. 79.   While the pool records were impressive, it was a team win with many Aquanauts swimming “off” events to get some times in those events that they normally don’t swim.

The Little Red are traveling to Long Island to compete in the Eastern States Championship at the the Nassau Aquatic center on Jan. 24th.  The meet will be broadcast on Meet Mobile.
