The Little Red had a dominating performance at the Section IV Class A championships. The boys won the title in consecutive seasons and the last 3 out of 4 years. The boys will be sending a formidable contingent to the State Championships in two weeks. More info to follow. See swimming and diving results:

Notable swims throughout the weekend: Haoge Lu competing in the 100 fly. Noah Frostclapp’s 100 Breast in Finals. Nathan Bach’s 100 and 200 swims in both pre-lims and Finals. Avery Bodenstein’s 22.42 split on the anchor leg of the 200 Medley Relay. Nadav Hendel’s smooth 500 in pre-lims and Finals. Edward Kiefer and Rory Bodenstein had excellent 500 drops at Pre-lims.
Ryan Nicholson set Section IV records in the 200 IM (previously held by 2011 grad John Nord) and in the 100 freestyle. Ryan’s time in the 100 free is an All-American Consideration time.
Kevin Miller qualified for the state championships in 2 events, the 200 free and 500 free. In addition to qualifying in the 50 freestyle, Francis Schickel also qualified in the 100 free. Will Fisher joins Francis in swimming the 100 Freestyle event at the state meet. In addition to their individual swims, the Little Red have qualified in the 200 MR, 200 FR and 400 FR. Dave Miller, Kevin Miller, Nathan Bach, Avery Bodenstein and Nadave Hendel will be joining the individual qualifiers as relay participants and alternates.
